Spanish chemical-safety training for McAllen & Rio Grande Valley crews
Rio Grande Valley cleaning companies cover McAllen, Edinburg, Mission, Pharr, and Brownsville routes — often with Spanish-speaking crews and English-only binders in the van. OSHA expects training in a language and vocabulary the worker can understand, not just SDS access.
Why McAllen owners search in Spanish
The Valley is dense with medical offices, retail strips, and school contracts where a building manager may ask how you trained new hires on bleach and ammonia. Generic English DVDs do not show your mix ratio or product name. A cart-level QR that records language, watch percent, and quiz score closes that gap without asking workers to install an app.

OSHA’s language rule (not a slogan)
OSHA’s 28 April 2010 training policy requires training in a language and vocabulary the employee can understand. Hazard Communication under 29 CFR 1910.1200(h) applies to janitorial employers. Pointing a Spanish-speaking worker to an English SDS alone is not a substitute for effective training.
SDS QR codes are not the same job as training
A Safety Data Sheet (SDS) must be accessible in the workplace. Training is a separate duty: workers must understand hazards and safe work practices in a language they comprehend. CrewGot does not host or manage SDS documents.
Many generic HazCom DVDs and LMS courses cover hazard categories. They often do not include your product name, mix ratio, or a cart-level QR record with language-of-instruction on every completion row.
What a strong completion record should show
- Worker name (or first name + last initial)
- Module (for example never mix bleach)
- Language of instruction, not just “trained”
- Watch percent and quiz score
- Timestamp in the location timezone
- SOP version when you change the mix ratio
How CrewGot works for McAllen crews
CrewGot is built for owner-operators running 5–40 cleaners across Valley cities. One QR per location, Spanish or English video, three quiz questions, and a completion PDF you can email to a client or keep with your written HazCom program.
Watch the public bleach demo the way a cleaner would — no login, no app store.
CrewGot is a training-record tool for short multilingual SOP videos, quizzes, and printable completion PDFs. It is not SDS management software, not an LMS, not a DVD course library, and not OSHA-certified training.
A training record tool. Not legal advice. Does not guarantee an OSHA, health department, or insurance outcome. Owners remain responsible for a safe workplace and for training workers in a language they understand.
